hospitals, dental clinics, medical centres and specialized care providers
serving international patients.
Thrace Health Tourism Association was founded in 2020 as part of the
regional development initiatives led by Trakya Development Agency, with the aim
of uniting these actors under a collaborative framework. The Agency continues
to support the Association's activities as part of its broader commitment to
strengthening the region's competitiveness in health tourism. The Association
supports its members in reaching global markets, achieving international
service standards, and enhancing the region's international visibility.
To this end, the Association carries out international promotion campaigns
and B2B matchmaking events, facilitates buyer delegations, provides market
intelligence external consultancy, and fosters partnerships with public
institutions and international stakeholders.
Through coordinated action and a commitment to quality, the Association
works to position Thrace as a trusted and competitive choice for patients
seeking care abroad.
