Lean Healthcare Capacity Strengthened Through Trakya Health Tourism Cluster HİSER Project

As part of the Performance Management Consultancy provided under the Trakya Health Tourism Cluster HİSER Project,  “Kaizen Fundamentals” and “Value Stream Mapping” trainings have been successfully completed. Representatives from Özel İrmet Hospital, Trakyadent Oral and Dental Health Center, Özel Bir Nefes Hospital, and Beyazıt Oral and Dental Health Clinic participated in the sessions, which combined theoretical knowledge with interactive practices and detailed case analyses.

The trainings focused on equipping participants with essential lean management tools to identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and streamline healthcare processes. Through these sessions, healthcare professionals enhanced their skills to improve workflow efficiency and patient-centered care.

Following the completion of the trainings, the consultancy will continue with on-site coaching at each participating facility. These field consultancy activities aim to implement lean solutions tailored to each institution’s needs, ultimately increasing operational performance, enhancing patient satisfaction, and raising the overall quality of healthcare services.

By strengthening the capacity of regional healthcare institutions to deliver services at international standards, this initiative will contribute to the competitiveness of Trakya’s healthcare sector in the global health tourism market and further position the region as a preferred destination for international patients seeking high-quality medical care.
